أعرب مصدر في وزارة الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج أن المملكة المغربية، التي يرأس عاهلها الملك محمد السادس، ، لجنة القدس، تدين تمادي بعض المسؤولين الإسرائيليين في اقتحامات المسجد الأقصى المبارك وباحاته بمشاركة بعض المتطرفين من اتباعهم.
وأكد نفس المصدر أن المملكة المغربية، من منطلق المواقف الثابتة للملك محمد السادس، رئيس لجنة القدس، تجدد رفضها الكامل لكل التصرفات الأحادية الهادفة الى تقويض جهود التهدئة، وتدعو إلى الحفاظ على الوضع القانوني والتاريخي القائم في مدينة القدس والمسجد الأقصى، وتفادي كل أشكال التصعيد والاستفزاز.
